Yes you can still apply for the program. In fact Your approved application lasts for 10 years, even if the program isn’t offered to new applicants in the future. So, you can use the grant during any transaction within the next decade.
The Grants are paid in the form of a rebate, meaning once your transaction is finalized and closed your Grant will be issue by cheque. You can expect your Grant within 10 business days after the closing of your transaction.
Yes, you can receive more than one grant as long as you qualify for each. There’s no limit to the number of grants you can be awarded. Talk to one of our partnered Realtors® for more information on the terms.
Yes, both you and your spouse can be eligible for a grant. However, there’s a limit of one grant per transaction, not per person. The individual, company, or trust receiving the grant must also be listed on the agreement of purchase and sale for the specific transaction.
